Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement is pleased to announce the 2023 Spirit of MAWLE Awards!

The 2023 Spirit of MAWLE Awards! Will be held on June 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Irish Cultural Center, Canton MA.

We are thrilled that we received more than 45 nominations this year and that once again we can gather to honor the hard work of women in the field of law enforcement and criminal justice daily.

The Spirit of MAWLE Awards are presented to women in law enforcement who have gone above and beyond in the areas of leadership, mentoring, courage, community service, performance, and civilian achievement.

Past Awards

The Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement hosted the 10th Annual Spirit of MAWLE Award Ceremony on June 16th, 2022, at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, MA Please see our blog post for information and photos from the event.

The Spirit of MAWLE Award was given in the following six areas: Leadership, Mentoring, Courage, Community Service, Excellence in Performance and Civilian Achievement. 

Additionally, the Lt. June T. Murphy Scholarship was presented during the ceremony.

We celebrated the achievements of women in law enforcement and our female high school senior pursuing her education in law enforcement.
