MAWLE Present as Boston Police Department Pledges to 30×30 Initiative
MAWLE members participated in a momentous occasion with Boston Police on Wednesday as they pledged to the 30×30 Initiative!
Our Vice President, Babson Police Chief Erin Carcia, spoke alongside Commissioner Cox & Mayor Wu. Our Secretary, Boston PD Sergeant Detective Amyleigh DeVito, as well as NAWLEE Executive Director Kym Craven, were in attendance along with several other MAWLE members from the Boston Police to witness this commitment.
We also thank the other Command Staff, officers, civilian staff, and politicians who attended. We look forward to supporting BPD, and hope other departments follow in pledging, alongside the other MA agencies already signed on, including Mass State Police, Northampton PD, Arlington PD, Lexington PD, and New Bedford PD.
