On behalf of the Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement Executive Board we would like to wish you and yours a Happy New Year!
2020 has certainly brought about many changes and challenges for us all professionally and for many of us personally as well. We began the year with a pandemic that brought changes to how we carry out our mission to protect and serve. We also dealt with violent protests across the Commonwealth that resulted in sweeping Police Reform. We want to thank our membership for their commitment to their communities and the law enforcement profession in 2020.
We would also like to thank you for all of your support this year as we were forced to postpone our annual conference, navigated through virtual meetings and a virtual awards ceremony. We are happy to have celebrated the promotions of many of our members, the well-deserved retirements, and we welcome many new women into the law enforcement family. We look forward to seeing everyone in person as soon as it is safe to do so in 2021. We wish everyone much happiness, good health and many successes in the upcoming year.
